Kakobuy notices with money attached
- October 9, 2026: the Halloween Fest notice. Between October 10 and 16, Beijing time, every shipment got a 10%% subsidy, spendable until November 30. A ¥1300 coupon pack plus an extra 10%% off shipping with the code KAKOHALLOWEEN from October 10 to 31, split into shipping coupons with minimum spends from ¥21 up to ¥2000. On October 15 and 16 everything carried at least 1%% off in a flash sale, and a referral programme opened on the 15th. Most of this has run out by the time you read it; the pattern repeats.
- July 1, 2026, EU duty-free lines. Kakobuy's duty-free lines to the EU continue and include the applicable taxes and duties.
- June 23, 2026, EU category duty. From July 1 the EU charges customs duty per product category; Kakobuy charges a flat €3 per parcel instead, and may withdraw that with notice.
- April 17, 2025, US tax-free routes. Routes for US buyers that include duties, at roughly $5 to $10 per package more than a standard USPS line.
- September 22, 2024, sign-up coupons. New accounts get coupons worth ¥3000 (roughly $410); still the first item on the notice ticker in October 2026.
There is also a statement in circulation, dated August 30, 2026, describing a hacking incident on Kakobuy's servers. It is absent from the official announcement list we read, so we count it as unconfirmed.
Where Kakobuy's community talks, and what it talks about
Kakobuy runs a Discord server, linked from a card on its home page. There is also r/kakobuy, a subreddit headed Kakobuy Official Community, dating from October 31, 2024 and showing roughly 21K members when we looked on October 10, 2026. Kakobuy also rewards members who share their orders.
What the subreddit discussed in the week before our reading is a fair sample of real worries: a buyer asking whether a quote for a 10.2 kg parcel after rehearsal packing was normal, another wondering whether their UK Air Freight Direct Line (Economy) parcel had stalled or gone missing, and haul posts of 10 to 11 kg parcels to the UK, one reporting delivery in under two weeks. Independent YouTube channels publish step-by-step Kakobuy tutorials and shipping-cost walkthroughs; they are not Kakobuy's, and we do not embed them.

At each new reading we re-check prices, stock figures and shared covers, replace any listing that has gone from the same price spot on its shelf, and add a line here saying what changed.
